Horse Care – Feeding
#behindthescenes at the Gaitway Dream Maker Program! The girls in our Dream Maker Program work shifts as “Barn Aides”, where they work together (and work with our adult mentor volunteers) to care for the horses and the ranch.
The girls learn essential skills such as problem solving, interpersonal communication, and they gain essential job skills training that prepares them for adulthood.
Plus, they get to hang and have fun with the horses, the other farm animals, and have fun with each other, too!
